NEW YORK โ€“ November 18, 2024 โ€“ Nielsen, a global leader in audience measurement, data and analytics, has announced an expanded multi-year agreement for Local TV measurement with American Spirit Media, based in Charlotte, North Carolina. American Spirit has chosen Nielsen as its exclusive measurement partner for Local TV measurement in the six markets where it operates major network affiliated stations (Jackson, MS, Wichita Falls & Lawton, Lake Charles, LA, Wilmington, NC, Toledo and Columbus, GA). This new agreement also includes an expanded set of Nielsen Local TV solutions including Ad Intel, Nielsenโ€™s comprehensive source of competitive Local media advertising intelligence..

With Nielsen measurement, American Spirit will have the most holistic view of its audiences across its platforms to better serve advertisers and make critical programming decisions. Nielsenโ€™s audience-first approach leverages direct measurement of traditional Over-the-Air television households combined with thousands of cable and satellite households from Nielsenโ€™s Big Data providers. These unique assets, backed by best-in-class data science, deliver the most comprehensive, representative and accurate picture of Local TV audiences to broadcasters like American Spirit and their advertising customers.
