La presenza degli influencer su Instagram è in continuo incremento, nel 2017 si contano 1,5 milioni di post (+198% rispetto al 2016). L’83,9% dei contenuti con hashtag #ad sono postati dalle donne, che rappresentano il 58% degli utenti di Instagram. Oggi, però, avere un’ampia fanbase non basta. I fan cercano sì soggetti influenti, ma anche consapevoli e in grado di veicolare contenuti credibili e legati a dei valori.

In Italia, alcuni personaggi femminili appartenenti al mondo dello sport sono influencer interessanti per i brand: testimonial, influencer e micro-influencer. Si spazia dalle celebrità alle stelle emergenti e quest’ultime hanno un elevato potenziale di generare engagement in quanto più vicine emotivamente ai loro follower e con interessi per temi molto specifici.
