– News.com.au retains top place in Nielsen digital news rankings- Top four news entities ranking remained consistent

Sydney, Australia – 23 November 2017: October 2017 digital news rankings released today by Nielsen revealed there was no change to the top four news entities when compared with the prior month. News.com.au (5.9 million, -3%) was followed by ABC News Websites (4.9 million, -5%), nine.com.au (4.6 million, +6%) and smh.com.au (4.3 million,+10%).

Rispetto a settembre 2017, c'è stato qualche movimento nell'ordine di classifica per le sei notizie successive. The Guardian (2,8 milioni, +7%) è balzato dall'ottavo al quinto posto, seguito da Daily Mail Australia (2,8 milioni, +2%), che è rimasto al sesto posto. Yahoo7 News Websites (2,8 milioni, -9%) è tornato al settimo posto dal quinto di settembre, seguito dal Daily Telegraph (2,5 milioni, +13%) che è passato dal decimo all'ottavo posto. Seguono l'Herald Sun (2,5 milioni, -9%), sceso dal settimo al nono posto, e la BBC (2,3 milioni, +3%), passata dal nono al decimo posto.
