NY – February 24 - October 2, 2024 - An estimated 43.15 million viewers watched the CBS News Vice Presidential Debate across 15 networks on Tuesday, October 1, according to Nielsen.
The first and only VP debate of the 2024 election was held at the CBS Broadcast Center in New York City, and featured Republican VP nominee, Ohio Sen. JD Vance, and Democratic VP nominee, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.
