ยท Five out of top ten entities report growth in unique audiences
Sydney, Australia โ 23 March 2017: More Australians are actively online than ever, with Australia’s online unique audience hitting 20 million for the first time during the month of February 2017.
Latest data released today by Nielsen reveals slight year on year growth across all key digital devices when comparing February 2017 with February 2016, with smartphones reporting the highest growth (+5%) – see table below.

Nielsen Digital Ratings (Monthly) data for February 2017 revealed that 5 out of the top 10 entities reported an increase when compared to the previous month.
News.com.au behielt die Spitzenposition mit 5,7 Millionen Unique Audience, was einem Anstieg von 6 % gegenรผber dem Vormonat entspricht.
Nine.com.au blieb auf dem zweiten Platz mit 4,6 Millionen Unique Audience (+3%) und smh.com.au sprang auf den dritten Platz mit 4,3 Millionen Unique Audience (+6%).
ABC News belegte mit 4,1 Millionen Zuschauern den vierten Platz. Daily Mail Australia (2,9 Millionen), The Guardian (2,7 Millionen) und Yahoo7 News (2,5 Millionen) behielten ihre fรผnften, sechsten und siebten Plรคtze in der Publikumsrangliste.
The Age stieg mit 2,4 Millionen Unique Audience (+4 %) vom 10. auf den 8. Platz, und The Daily Telegraph verzeichnete einen groรen Anstieg (+15 %) bei der Unique Audience und stieg mit 2,4 Millionen vom 13. auf den 9. Die Herald Sun rรผckte mit 2,2 Millionen Unique Audience auf Platz 10 vor.
