This year’s 3BL Media 100 Best Corporate Citizens list recognizes outstanding ESG transparency and performance among the 1,000 largest, publicly-traded U.S. companies. Each company is ranked based on its transparency and performance across 141 different environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors in eight categories: climate change, employee relations, environment, financial, governance, ESG performance, human rights, and stakeholders and society. The factors provide a measure of each company’s relative performance and progress over time as it relates to their policies and practices across the ESG areas that matter most to their stakeholders and business.
