Russ Soper is Chief Information & Data Officer at Nielsen, responsible for executing a transformation focused on improved fundamental service delivery, increased agility, driving technology modernization, and building a highly engaged and high performing organization.  

닐슨에 입사하기 전에는 세계 최대 핀테크 기업 중 하나인 피나스트라에서 최고 정보 책임자 겸 최고 정보 보안 책임자로 근무했습니다. 그는 회사의 고객 대면 기술의 호스팅, 운영 및 현대화를 감독하고 피나스트라의 글로벌 인력이 사용하는 기업 기술을 관리하는 업무를 담당했습니다.

Russ는 개발자로 커리어를 시작하여 ABN AMRO의 투자 은행 사업부에서 다양한 기술 직책을 거쳐 영국 런던에서 미주 CIO 및 글로벌 인프라 책임자를 역임한 후 JP모건으로 옮겨 JPM의 가장 중요한 플랫폼의 '상시 가동' 기능을 추진하는 데 중점을 둔 프로그램인 중요 인프라 운영 부서를 출범시켰습니다.  

Russ는 기술과 인간의 교차점에 대한 열정을 가지고 있으며, 기술을 활용하여 효율성, 협업 및 생산성 향상을 넘어 정서적, 신체적, 사회적 웰빙을 실현하는 방법에 대해 정기적으로 강연하고 있습니다. 

Outside of technology, he is an active member of the non-profit community, currently serving as Board member for www.18loop.org; providing innovative Virtual Reality technologies to aid pediatric cancer patients and is a Council member & former Chairman of the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music (www.bkcm.org); a NYC-based non-profit providing music education and music therapy to over 8,000 inner-city youths.    

Russ holds a BSc in Computer Science from the City University of New York, is an avid runner and life-long musician.  He resides in Brooklyn, New York with his wife, daughter and dog, Nala.
