– Strong growth in unique audiences to department store and retailer websites
– Westfield, Super Cheap Auto and Liquorland among the biggest growth players
Sydney, Australia – 23 January 2017: As the year drew to a close and Christmas loomed, more consumers turned to the Internet to visit retail-related sites, according to December data released today by Nielsen.
Nielsen Digital Ratings (Bulanan) melaporkan pertumbuhan yang kuat dari bulan ke bulan pada pemirsa unik selama bulan Desember 2016. Hal ini terutama terjadi pada peritel besar seperti David Jones (+50%) dan Myer (+31%).

News.com.au retained the top position in Nielsen’s digital rankings with a unique audience of 5.3 million.
Nine.com.au naik ke posisi kedua dengan jumlah pemirsa unik sebanyak 4,3 juta dan ABC News berada di peringkat ketiga dengan jumlah pemirsa unik sebanyak 4,2 juta. Smh.com.au mempertahankan peringkat keempat dengan jumlah pemirsa unik sebanyak 3,6 juta.
Daily Mail Australia (2,7 juta), The Guardian (2,6 juta), Yahoo7 News (2,5 juta), BBC (2,4 juta) dan Herald Sun (2,2 juta), semuanya mempertahankan posisi mereka di bulan November 2016 dalam peringkat pemirsa, masing-masing dari posisi 5 hingga 9.
